Google Chrome is the most used web browser available today. It is very easy to use and has a very simple user interface. Google Chrome is designed in such a way that a person with fundamental computer knowledge can operate it without any special skills. Clearing Cookies in Google Chrome

If you want to clear cookies and delete browsing history in Google Chrome follow these steps.

  1. Type chrome://settings/  in the browser address bar.
  2. Scroll down to Privacy and security.
  3. In the last entry click on clear browsing data.
  4. A pop-up window will open. Click the items which you want to clean and click clear data.
  5. You can choose what you want to clean. It includes cookies, browsing data, and cached images.

How to reset Google Chrome

You need to open the settings page again as we did in the last step. Just follow the steps below.

  1. Type chrome://settings/  in google chrome.
  2. Go to the end of the page.
  3. Here you can see an option Reset Settings.
  4. Click on it, and your browser will get a reset.

How to Update Google Chrome

Google Chrome is set to auto-update. It means you don’t need to update your browser manually. Whenever an update is available, it will be installed automatically. This process is done in the background, and there is no notification for updates. However, sometimes we get an error message like  Google Chrome Updates are Disabled by the Administrator.
