Laying down the law

Changes to the local rules on conduct of business activity in Poland after May 1, 2004 will concern three groups of entities.

First, they will facilitate business activity of entities from the EU member states.

Second, Polish business entities will be forced to compete with stronger entities from the EU and adapt their own activities to new rules.

Third, the new rules governing the conduct of business activity in Poland will concern business entities from third-party countries, which will remain subject to the majority of restrictions applicable to conducting business activity in Poland.
