In the last four or so years, SLM has become a hot-topic in IT circles. Unfortunately, it?s generating a lot of hype and misinformation along with discussion about its use. To really compound matters, the business intelligence software and consulting industry has gotten a ?whiff? of this interest in IT circles and it has been steadily bombarding IT buyers with the false misleading message: SLM is really business intelligence (BI).
